Diagnostic Radiologist

ARI is seeking a diagnostic radiologist interested in a full-time, on-site partnership track position. The ideal candidate has fellowship training, but this is not required.

ARI is a busy private practice group currently with 20 members. Our scope of practice includes all areas of general radiology, mammography, fluoroscopy, and nonvascular interventional procedures (arthrography, LPs, biopsies, basic drainages, myelograms). The group structure is democratic with all on-site radiologists enjoying the same amount of time off.

  • typical vacation is 13-14 wks.
  • typical radiologist works 10-11 weekends/yr. with 1/3rd being night shift
  • Shifts are 7a-3:30p, 8a-4:30p, 4:30p-10p, 4p-12p
  • Internal moonlighting is available (both on-site and remote).

Charleston, WV is a vibrant town with many amenities. It is the capital of WV with a population of just over 50,000. Two public parks and a large state park within town offer a number of outdoor activities for residents. Climate is four seasons with a beautiful fall. The city lies at the intersection of 3 interstates (I-64, I-77, I-79) and is an easy drive to many parts of the US (66% of the US population is within 500 miles of Charleston). Yeager airport on the Northside of Charleston offers non-stop flights to 8 US cities. Charleston is made up of an eclectic mix of restaurants, shops, businesses in the downtown and surrounding area. Minor league baseball, Public Radio’s Mountain Stage and the Clay Center are just a few of the amenities available in the city.
